We loved the food, the drinks, the service was excellent and the portions were perfect for the money!
We went for a group Christmas dinner and the service was bad - messed up the orders with no apology, no refills on drinks unless you asked twice, food horrible - fish was soaked in oil, and the only side was carrots to share! Not worth even trying it - enough other good New Orleans places to eat.
Went to Antoines with a group of friends and received the worst service of all time. The waiter spilled drinks and food ON US!!! He also forgot to bring out drinks and sides and was a sweaty mess of a man.
In addition to the awful service the food was disgusting. Crab was way over cooked and cold. The potato soueflee was a very expensive french fry and every meat and fish entree we ordered was dry and gross.
Do yourself a favor and skip this restaurant on your visit to New Orleans!!!!!! Disgusting, gross pig food!!!!
There is really no excuse for how bad this place is. I'm a local from New Orleans and can honestly say that the only people who spend their money at Antoines are old school blue bloods who have completely lost their sense of taste and green tourists who fall prey to the over-advertising Antoines pays for
I had many wonderful meals at Antoines over the years. I do believe although it is only a shawdow of what it once was.
The people who own and run the restaurant now are sending it into the ground. In stead of staying by the things that have made Antoines the famous restaurant that it was. They have become nothing but an over priced Denny's.
When I was in last a fellow by the name of Raymond was our waiter. He was a joke! He was rude crude and the worst waiter I have ever had. A manager by the name of Rick Blounnt came to the table and after he left i relized why the place runs as bad as it does. I wish my former favorite restaurant could make a come back but I'm sure those days are gone.
An experience of a lifetime ! Incredible food...Unforgetable. Truly the Grand Dame of restaurants.Impecable service. A must when in New Orleans.
The food is exceptionally good, and the service is great! I love Antonie's.
I am a native of New Orleans and I think Antoines is the finest restraunt in the city. If you want to experience true New Orleans cuisine and history this is the place to go!
Antoine's! That's all you have to say for fine dining. If you want to experience the best of what New Orleans has to offer in food, go here. I've lived in New Orleans my entire life and there is no finer dining experience than Antoine's.
