Stop shopping and hire this company immediately. My wife hired them to remodel a bathroom, and she only had 5 days for them to get it done before she had to go back to school after summer break. These guys do EVERYTHING they tell you they are going to do. They are fast, polite, and professional. In only 5 days, they took the bathroom all the way down to the studs and installed new: drywall, concrete backerboard, wainscoting, medicine cabinet, lighting, vent fan, concrete subfloor, tub, marble flooring and subway bath tiles. T and R Contracting not only did a beautiful job on our kitchen, they were right on budget, extremely communicative and completed the job in half of the time that other contractors quoted us. People say that of cost, time and quality you typically have to sacrifice one and I can say that is definitely not the case with T and R. They are awesome! We will probably never use another contractor again.

We are very pleased with T and R: Tom, Rick, Tom, Joe. They were very respectful of our house and our wishes and did an excellent job. We hired them to renovate 2 bathrooms and put hardwood floors in 2 rooms. They take pride in their work, are very honest and conscientious, and pay attention to the details.



Since they have finished the work, I have received nothing but compliments on the bathrooms. They had to take 2 bathrooms from the mid-80s, which had carpets on the floors, to the modern era! They built a whole new shower from the ground up with expensive tile and especially very expensive glass tile. This is an important point to make that the kind of tile that I had bought required very precise work in design, alignment, etc. They also did demo work, moisture proofing, roof flashing, moving toilets, adding recessed lighting and a whole host of other things. And they completed all tasks well.



One of my bathroom mirrors was damaged by the store on their last day of the project. And I wasn't sure if they'd come back to install it when I got a new one. But they came, like they said they would, and even did some other minor adjustments and tweaks to the bathroom not related to the mirror without any issue.



They took the time to do everything well. They did not try to cut corners and rush to their next job. They even called on the days that we had terrible storms to say they wouldn't come because walking back and forth into the house in the storm could ruin our existing floors and ruin the materials and supplies!



Their pricing was fair. We got a number of estimates before we started the work. While these guys are not the cheapest, they are not the most expensive either. We felt that they were fairly priced. For the amount paid, they delivered value. Their estimate was very thorough and detailed and they were not pushy about adding unnecessary work to the estimate. In fact, they gave good advice on several occassions on how we could save money.



All in all - a good talented crew. We are planning to use them again as we continue with our renovation projects.

I feel very lucky having T&R Contracting remodel my condo. The fact that I came across them is also nothing short of luck. I’ve never dealt with construction contractors before, so I used the Yellow Pages as the starting point to find and screen businesses. T&R came up as the most highly rated contractor in my area of South Jersey – all posted reviews were very positive, and some of them even raving. After I met with Rick Stockton in person to discuss plans for redoing my apartment, my mind was pretty much made up even before I saw the quotes from him and other contractors. Rick’s ideas for what can be done with my place and how to accomplish it paled the competition. Rick’s apparent knowledge of his trade, his observant eyes and his personable demeanor, all taken together, made a very positive impression to me. I was simply left with a feeling that I can trust him and his partners, and trust is the key part of this operation.



Overall, I have nothing but great things to say about Rick, Tom and Pat. First of all they are great people to work with – always polite, courteous, respectful, accommodating and above all honest. I never had any problems reaching them by phone or e-mail in case I had questions or concerns to be addressed. Second, they have a great work ethic – once they started working on my project, they were totally committed to it. So, if you are one of those people who are worried about the timely progress of work and want to visit your property every day to make sure that it is, this would not be the case with T&R Contracting – no micro-management is necessary here. They work diligently and efficiently, and I was there on several occasions to see their teamwork in action. They don’t cut corners, and since I am a difficult customer to please, the quality of their work will meet everyone’s standards.



My entire condo was gutted and totally remodeled in one month, and it looks absolutely fabulous. It is simply amazing how much was accomplished in that time! This simply wouldn’t be possible without T&R’s expertise, dedication and hard work. Thank you so much!

Tom and Rick were recommended by a work friend that has used them for numerous projects done on her older home. It started with a garage door and bathroom re-do. Tom and Rick offerred design and material ideas (exactly what we needed), they even helped us from making a mistake with tile combinations. They did a fantastic job! We changed things along the way and they just "rolled" with it. They never complained or over charged us. They did most of the work while we were not at home and they were extremely responsible with our animals and home. They kept in contact with us by taking our calls at night and on the weekends. My husband and I already have our Spring project list which includes a complete re-do in our backy yard. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Thanks to Rich and Tom I now have the 5 star bathroom that I have always wanted. They are the most punctual, courteous, hard workers, fair contractors that I have ever come upon. Rich had Wonderful ideas. Thank you Rich and Tom for a job well done, I couldn't be happier.
