        Overall

        I like target stores, however, this store in particular has racist staff members and supervisor(s). I was shopping for my daughter and shopped for close to $300-400 of clothes,diapers, and toddler snacks as I will be busy for 2 months due to work. Just because I am brown, they had a security guard following me throughout my shopping. I asked the manager why that happened and he said whenever they "suspect" someone, they have to do this. I am a physician and not a kleptomaniac. It was very disheartening to hear that just because of my "color" they thought I was stealing. I have seen my "white" folks with 3-4 kids destroying stuff while so called "acting like kids" and their parents busy filling their carts with stuff. But no one follows them because they are white. I have a black coworker (office manager) at my office who has similar experiences. I think I will just avoid going to this store than getting embarrassed because I am "not white". What a shame target!
