I totally agree with all the feed backs, I have just got into RC helicopter, and has a wonderful response from all sales personal. It has cost me more than I was thinking about spending, BUT I am not sorry. I have just, up graded, to the next step.
Don't buy on line, buy direct

Had a great experience with Doug. Helped me narrow down what was right for my 10 year old son. The gift was a hit and he has driven that RC truck every place you can imagine.
If I had just ordered online it would not have gone this well.

By far the nicest group in the metro. Smaller family owned shop, but the service is outstanding. We've seen them at various flying events helping people set up their planes and helicopters and even ran into them at a truck race once. They've never had trouble matching prices, and if they don't have it in stock they usually get my parts in 2 days. Highly recommended.

Using a local hobby shop is definitely the better way to go when making a large purchase. While prices online may save you a few dollars, it is quite costly to ship materials back and forth whenever there is an accident/issue. You are much better off looking for someone knowledgeable who can assist you and answer any questions. Most hobby shops only service products they sell as well, so keep it in mind!!!

I was having trouble with my remote control car and called King Kong Hobbies for suggestions. They were super helpful on the phone and I was able to order the parts I needed and have them shipped to my house! Amazing customer service - which is hard to find these days.
