Sadly my 1st review disappeared, but like my 1st visit Dr Basharone was caring & gentle & smart and her resident was the same. I wish I had a better Dx but it's not their fault & they're going step by step through the various Tx modalities before surgery, which is the worst, but to me, much less scary , do to phobia, than joint injections. I was married to a doctor & she taught me that if the office is well run & you wait less than 15 min you have a good doc. Well, I got there an hour early & sat less than 5 min. My 1st visit, I was closer to my scheduled time but still only waited 5 min. I'd highly recommend Dr Basharone and her fine team even though I've only dealt with them twice. I have lots of experience w/ doctors & also have an inate ability to instantly judge people. They're good people & as upset as I'm at my Dx, it could always be worse & duh, it's life & not their fault. I know & feel relieved they'll treat me w/ peduatric gloves. Rob Vale,JD, M.Sci,MBA

“Dr. Bascharon treated my difficult shoulder tear remarkably well. Following what turned out to be a four-hour surgery, my follow-up care was outstanding and I am recovering much faster than I expected. Pain is resolving and motion is returning. In another urgent situation for sudden low back pain, Dr. Bascharon returned my call from Hawaii on a Saturday and personally arranged for an MRI there, all completed within three hours. Arthroscopy
Arthroscopy can be used to treat several shoulder conditions and problems. Performed since the 1970s, shoulder arthroscopy allows for a quicker recovery time with less pain, as compared to open surgery. Shoulder arthroscopy can also be used to inspect problems inside the shoulder to allow for a more accurate diagnosis.
Minimally Invasive Surgery
The ACL, or anterior cruciate ligament, is crucial to stabilizing your knee. Cyst Removal
Arthroscopy is commonly used to repair the rotator cuff, remove bone spurs, remove or repair the labrum, repair ligaments, and remove inflamed tissue and loose cartilage. It may also be used for nerve release, fracture repair, and cyst removal.

Arthroscopy
Arthroscopy is performed with a small camera called an arthroscope. The arthroscope displays images on a monitor in the operating room, which helps surgeons to guide the operating instruments. The surgical instruments are small – usually about the size of a pencil. The surgical instruments, combined with the use of the arthroscope, allow surgeons to perform the procedure using much smaller incisions than those needed for open surgery.
