Born in the small town of Lancaster, Ohio, Dr. Patel remembers her dental visits as positive experiences. She would shadow her childhood dentist and decide early on that she wanted to pursue dentistry. After graduating from The Ohio State University with a degree in Psychology she went on to attend the Prestigious New York University College of Dentistry. It was there this small town girl enjoyed the culture of the city that never sleeps. Dr. Patel continued on after graduation doing the Implant Maxicourse and a General Dental residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. During her residency, she worked on all aspects of general dentistry from fillings, crown and bridge work, oral surgery, Periodontics (gums and teeth), Endodontics (root canals), Pediatrics, as well as cosmetic and implant restorations. She knew that her love for food, travel and the arts would take her around the world, but wanted to be close to family and friends and moved back to Columbus in 2009. Marrying her childhood friend, and blessed with two energetic little boys, Dr. Patel is happy to be back in the Buckeye state. All the while this busy working mom stays involved in organized dentistry. She loves all things related to HGTV, traveling, and pop music especially the top 100 hits.
