- Dr. Benjamin Thornton provides orthodontic treatment to his patients at Thornton Orthodontics in Eugene, OR. Dr. Thornton graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Dakota. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, and later, his Master of Science degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Thornton also carried out his Orthodontic Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Thornton is a member of the Oregon Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. During his time away from the practice, Dr. Thornton likes to run, ski, snowboard, go camping, hike trails, and spend time with his wife and four children.

Provided by Doctor.comI was and am thoroughly impressed with every aspect of our experience at Dr Thornton's office. Each of the staff members is kind, thoughtful, polite and respectful of us and our concerns, including time. Not only is everyone doing an above average job, there are many little perks that make each visit exceptional. Above all they made my rather shy and timid son feel comfortable and welcome. I as the parent felt that it was about much more than money to Dr Thornton and his staff.

Provided by Doctor.comWe cannot say enough good things about Dr. Thornton's office. He is a phenomenal orthodontist with a kind, attentive, welcoming staff. He always made us feel at home, well taken care of and like a member of the family! He was always very clear and concise about the treatment and my son's new smile speaks for itself. We will recommend Thornton Orthodontics to everyone.

Provided by Doctor.comI liked having Dr. Thornton as my orthodontist! All the assistants were great, too. I like how they were all very welcoming. They were gentle with my teeth, but got the job done. Overall, I think this is a great orthodontist, and I recommend it!
