Pause 4 Paws Pet Grooming and Hotel

I would give this business a zero out of 5 if I could. Last year in around November my family and I left our cat in these people's care for 1 week. On the day we got back from the trip, it was late and the store was about to close. We arrived and my father went up to the door, found it locked. He knocked on the door and called "hello" inside since he saw a woman inside. When the woman saw him, she immediately ducked under the counter and crawled away. This was extremely odd, but we just went home and came back the next day. When we returned, the woman was back and she saw us (I was there with my father). She immediately got a man from the back who I think was her brother or someone and they immediately accused my father of coming last night and said he was banging on the door and screaming profanities. We both denied this while the man demanded that we apologize and that his sister never lies. We insited that this never happened and we just wanted our cat back and the man began threatening us, saying that they had security cameras and could prove it. During this time, another man came out of the back area with our cat, but instead of giving us our cat, he put her on the floor in her carrier while about 3 loose dogs ran around, scaring her while she meowed incessantly. My dad agreed to come back the next day to see this video and they finally picked our cat up off the floor to give her back. She was in perfect condition and was not harmed and seemed well fed. The next day my father went back and the employees showed him a video WITHOUT AUDIO as if that somehow that proved their point aka wasting our time with empty threats.

My father and I are both African American and the 3 employees were all seemed to be mexican or Caucasian. My father is very dark and we believe that the woman was simply being rascist and assumed my father was trying to attack her. Sweetwater Creek Animal Hospital is just a few miles from here and is much more professional and level headed.

This is the only place we will ever take our dogs. Yesterday was our first time there and I have already recommended them to everyone I can. For the first time ever I feel like the dogs received a grooming from a professional. It made me realize what poor attention to detail and basic services they were given at other places. We have two large senior dogs and they have never looked better! Many thanks to everyone at Pause 4 Paws, and we will see you again soon!

I was so nervous about getting my new puppy Chewy groomed. I was so happy that I did. He looked fantastic when I picked him up.

Pause 4 Paws is heaven on earth, I have a Yorkie, that is a rescue and his anxiety is really bad, at previous groomers he would shake and cry, this changed on the first visit at Pause 4 Paws he absolutely love going, he no longer shake or cry and hop right out of the car when we pull into the parking lot. Thanks Pause 4 Paws for changing Jackson's experience, treating him like your own, while providing the best grooming service and packages.

I have two female Yorkies and they are nervous little dogs when they go to the groomers. However the attention they get while at Pause 4 Paws is great and my little darlings come out looking happy and pretty. I have not been disappointed.

Took my dog, Raven, for the first time today and was impressed with their work. Very friendly as well.

I want to thank Richard & Eddie for taking such great care of my baby poodle named Sidnee. She adores Pause4Paws and looks forward to each and every appointment. She gets so excited when I drive up. Fabulous bath and cut. Keep up the good work!



I have taken her to several groomers; but, PAUSE4PAWS is definitely the best!

I have a lab chow mix and a english lab both are in the 80 ponds plus area. It was there first time going to the groomers ever they took good care of both dogs they looked wonderful when they came out. Well worth the money very polite and looking forward to next grooming vist. I would recomend this place highly. Also the groomers are very knowledgeable.about the dogs it was a great thing to finally walk In and have someone that knows a thing or two about dogs we will be back.

I have been taking my dog to Pause 4 Paws for about six months now. They do an excellent job. I have a Border Collie/Lab mix and he sheds galore. Pause 4 Paws is the first place I've taken him that actually manages to get all the loose fur off. All the other grooming salons charged a ton extra for de-shedding and my dog would still be shedding when I took him home. I highly recommend this salon.
