Don't trust this Midas touch! I brought my vehicle in to be repaired after it was making a loud clicking noise eventually overheated and stopped on the side of the road. The Mechanics at Midas charged me a diagnostic fee of $89 and told me that the issue was a leaky lower hose, which I replaced the week before, and suspect they punctured a hole in it. Hours later I received another phone call and was told the issue was my water pump; which I replaced less than a year ago. For all of this they charged me $909. I picked my vehicle up the following morning and it sounded like a tractor it pulled and tugged and surprise surprise was still OVERHEATING! I was rudely told that the car came in like that and that I needed to get a tune up. Sure that, that was not the issue I returned the car the next day after refusing to be sent away since the car was still having the same problem I brought it in for and was told that the issue was a blown head gasket hmmm...that sounds like the original problem. Insultingly they offered to fix my car for an additional $1100. Instead of admitting they were wrong and did not fix the real problem they tried to hustle me out of more money. Untrustworthy and disgusting people they are the reason mechanics get a bad name don t trust them with your car!
