AMC Theaters

This concerns the price of popcorn. I think it is way too much. Maybe more people would go with their kids if the price was more reasonable. A person could get the large and share it with 3-4 kids, but that is not particularly sanitary.

Going to the movies these days can become very costly with the average ticket price going for about $14 at the lowest. Well the days of paying to much for a show are over. AMC North DeKalb Mall 16 offers you the same experience for half the price. Matinee tickets are $4.27 for adults and $6.41 for normal hours. The staff is always friendly and you can use the money you've saved off your ticket on your movie goodies. They even give you the option of buying your ticket through Fandango so, you don't have to wait in line. At this prices you should never miss another opening again. Best ticket prices around for first run movies. Concessions are standard and while the theaters aren't awesome, they are a good value

My husband and I go to this AMC every Wednesday to see a movie. Week one was fine, week two was fine. Well week three I came into contact with Brianna (AT THE TIME DID NOT KNOW HER NAME BECAUSE SHE HAD ON NO BADGE) at the concessions area. It seems as if she was more concerned about her male coworkers off days and clock out times rather than taking orders. I forgot to order hot dogs I stepped up she looked at me as if I was bothering her to take my order. She never said hi how are you, may I take your order or even thank you after my purchase. The only thing she said was my total. Then I asked her for a receipt 2 times. She rolled her eyes and had a terrible I wish her name was on the receipt but it was not. I also noticed Brianna giving me a menacing look from the popcorn machine. Thats the second time I noticed that. So I walked away and asked to speak to a manager. Valerie the "manager" who I asked who the menacing popcorn maker was so I could write to AMC corporation and Valerie's primary concern was should she respond to my complaint from corporate. But Valerie gave us Brianna's name.

IF BRIANNA CANT GIVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE then maybe cleaning the trash in the theaters or restroom would be a better job for her SO she doesn't have to smile AND GIVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE TO PEOPLE WHO SPEND THERE HARD EARNED MONEY TO PAY HER HOURLY WAGE. **************************************************­******THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS WAS THE MOVIE TED WAS GREAT & THE FOOD WAS GOOD.

This review gets 1 star for the food and the movie. The restroom was terrible.

This theater is perfectly fine, I go here all the time...plus they now have $5 admission on all shows Mon-Thurs!

This AMC theater is older and somewhat dated. But what they could make up for in service is somehow foreign to them. Popcorn is popped and then placed in bags under a heat lamp to keep warm. I could see doing this when extremely busy, but not when there are less than 15 people at this location. Rest of the personnel act like they could care less.
