Dr. Ward is a native of Columbus, Ohio. He attended Ohio University where he earned to degrees, Music and Zoology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at The Ohio State University where he was a Assistant Clinical Professor for 13 years. In addition to his clinical practice, he now lectures worldwide about his research in smile design, aesthetic dentistry, and digital dental photography. Dr. Ward has published extensively in textbooks, clinical journals, and product reviews. He serves as the board examiner of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Society of Dental Aesthetics, American College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy, and the International College of Dentists. Dr. Ward is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and the Columbus Dental Society. He is an American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry Diplomat. Dr. Ward's practice is located in the Polaris Area of Columbus, situated between Westerville and Powell, north of Worthington. He lives in Upper Arlington with his wife, Joyce. They have two daughters. His interests outside of dentistry include travel and playing his bass guitar.
