- Curbside Collection Services - Ray’s offers 96 gallon waste containers on wheels and 18 gallon recycling bins for all of your waste and recycling needs.Roll-Off Containers - Ray’s also offers roll-off containers in a variety of sizes to support your special projects. Containers range in size from 96 gallon toters to 8 cubic yards and can be emptied up to 6 times per week. Ray’s Trash Service provides roll-off containers to support your special projects: building renovation, clean-up project, inventory surplus, etc. We deliver the container to your business when you need it and remove it when the job is complete. A roll-off container is a container that “rolls” off the truck. They are larger than general commercial containers. They are open on the top and have a large door on the back of the container to walk material in. The sides are low so material can be loaded from there as well. Our roll-off services are beneficial for clean ups, new construction, tear ups, and tear downs. We have an entire staff dedicated to this department, ensuring your waste is taken efficiently. We offer 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40 yard roll-off containers. Recycling - Ray’s Trash Service is about protecting the environment while helping you. As one of the largest recyclers in the State of Indiana, we recycle and pay for office paper, cardboard, and ferrous and non-ferrous metals. We also recycle pallets, plastics, and many other materials. Document Destruction - Ray’s Trash Service Provides NAID Certified, on-site shredding service. That means our truck comes to your facility and cross-cut shreds the material inside the truck. Before the driver leaves, you will receive a certificate of destruction for your records. The shredded remains are brought to our facility to be baled and shipped to a paper mill for recycling. Demolition - Ray’s Demolition can demolish existing houses and small buildings up to three stories from commercial and residential properties. We have skilled technicians and all of the best equipment to remove the establishments in a timely and efficient manner. Disaster Cleanup - Ray’s has the resources and know-how to clean up effectively after fires, tornados and other disasters strike. Well id say they do a hell of a lot more work than republic if ya got boxes or say a couch to go if ya give these guyes somthing to drink a few bucks n help m load it they will b glad to help u u treat m rite they will do u good rebublic is a bunch of lazy ass punks that wont do nothing extra at all juz all around world wide ideots rays best for u money bet on tha
I have this company bc they have great people! Had a flat tire on the side of 39 by 70 and they were the first to stop and help me! I now have residential service with them and they never leave my cans blowing in the wind. They always pick everything up! They're a great company! Would recommend to anyone!
They really suck ! The refuse to take my trash because I broke up my old laminated floors and put it in the bin.
Well, If I told my bff about this company I would say stay away.
1) Just because they are cheap, doesnt mean they provide the best service. I switched from Rays to Republic a LONG time ago. My issue was that there was a new person ever week tossing my trash. REALLY ur turnover rate is that bad.. I dont even use them for my business lot either!If you have a new person every other week, u lack consistency or respect within ur company.
2) Some of their drivers just blow past these stop lights and stop signs, and I have yet to see someone from Republic do that.To me they take their time and care in what they are doing. I live right by a stop light on one side and stop signs on the other, I remember the neighbor yelling at one Ray's driver to stop backing up that BIG truck so they wouldnt hit another neighbors car... They cant drive..
3) billing, I dont know what was with that lady who answered thephone, but my bill needed to be adjusted (i got billed for services that i didnt order) the lady kept putting it off for about 6 months of me calling repeartil, finally I said fix it or cut off ther services. I have trash.. never wanted recycling!! why are you billing me, the red boxes just stayed at the same corner where they left it for 5 months!!!
so this is my experience. I have heard many stories from other trash people at Republic, but who knows, I want people that know well, kind of know us. During the holidays, I will always leave a gift or a tip ot for the drivers, b/c they are scarfiicing their time on their holidays. I think its fair.
Know you decide, for yourself. Just b/c its cheap, dont mean the people are out to service you for you.
I have been using Ray's for residential pick up for 4 years, once where i paid directly, and now in my utility payment to our Town, and I am very impressed. They come in a timely manner, pick up everything i put out, and are courteous drivers. Everyone else must think the same i see their trucks everywhere. I would highly recommend them.
