THIEVES!!!!!!I have my own towing company and I junked a BMW not too long ago and I was told that all the vehicles thatget junked and are not for sale, for parts only. A few days later I go back to junk another car and I see Marco driving the same BMW I had just junked with me and when I told him that it's supposed to be only for parts he said that it's none of my business since I already got paid for it. There's been a lot of shady business going on there recently and I definitely won't be junking any cars there any more.

Don't whine about when they close, just understand you need to be there earlier rather than later. There isn't anybody I know who appreciates being paid until 5P and is held over b/c some dork thought he could pull a part w/in 15 minutes... and it becomes the employees' problem when he's not out when they want to close the gates. Assume that if you can't make it by 4:30, they're going to ask you to come back another day.



The prices here are way acceptable. They don't analyze the little stuff (trim parts) and have posted prices for larger parts. The actual collection of vehicles is relatively small at this location. I've found there are more trucks @ the Blue Island location and more options in general at the Aurora location. The place is organized and cars are off the ground (unlike Victory, which is just kind of a confusing, muddy dump).



At the end of the day, it's a salvage yard, not your local Jewel. The guys are guys and everybody's there to 'shop' and get out. The place is run pretty well. Have used this place for years and they've def got my business for the future, also.
