Sarah was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, graduated from La'James College in Iowa City in 2002, and has been working at Artistic Strands since 2005. She enjoys working with all ages and hair types, and performs all services on hair that the salon offers, including haircuts, coloring, highlighting, balayage, formal styling, perms, and also facial waxing. She loves working on wedding hair and makeup, and helps brides working with Artistic Strands coordinate their wedding services. Every year, Sarah takes classes and attends hair shows to keep up to date on current cutting, coloring and styling trends. Since Artistic Strands has added Dollup Beauty makeup, she has enjoyed learning more about the line and sharing her knowledge with her guests.
Waxing
Professional waxing services are a great way to remove unwanted hair growth on any part of your body. Waxing services will leave your skin smooth and supple for weeks or longer depending on the body part. The hair will generally grow back lighter and softer than if you were to shave.

Manicure
She is interested in creating fun new looks for her guests with new colors and styles. She enjoys educating them so that they can recreate the same look at home. Abby also has a passion for spa services which include manicures and pedicures.
