Adolescents have special needs. Appearance and self-image are very important to them. Decayed or poorly positioned teeth or jaws might make them more self-conscious. Teens also eat frequently, and unhealthy snack foods tend to become a major part of their regular diet. We provide a professional, sensitive and caring approach to restoring and guiding teeth, and teaching preventive dental health care through the teen’s high school years. Fillings
Amalgam Fillings: Often referred to as “silver fillings”, amalgam fillings restore the tooth’s structure and offer strength and durability for those tooth surfaces which are less visible.
Veneers
Porcelain Veneers are thin layers of porcelain that are bonded to the enamel of the teeth. They restore teeth that are short, small, chipped, permanently discolored, or improperly shaped or contoured. If necessary, the teeth are gently prepared, an impression is made of your teeth and the veneers are made in a dental laboratory. The entire procedure requires two visits. Porcelain veneers are strong and stain resistant and can give you a beautiful, natural looking smile.
Crowns
Traditional methods to replace a missing tooth or teeth include the fabrication of a bridge. To replace a missing tooth with a bridge, at least one tooth on either side of the space created by the missing tooth must be prepared for a crown. Then a false tooth is joined to the crowns, and the entire structure is permanently cemented to the prepared teeth. The bridge cannot be removed and special aids are available to keep it clean.

A crown is an all metal, all ceramic, or metal and ceramic restoration that covers a tooth. It is often the treatment of choice for teeth that may be at risk for further breakdown or fracture. In addition, patients with extremely worn teeth require many crowns to restore the lost tooth structure.
