This is a great place for families and friends to hang out and has a great race track for drag racing
Very good place to have fun and just relax. Be warned though, the food may be a little expensive and you may not want to go at certain times of the day because of the population of people... And keep flip flops or sandals with you because if the sun is out and you are barefoot you are gonna have blisters on your feet by the end of the day. Hope this helps
Ripped me off when I checked out when I was promised to be charged for a weekly basis and got screwed for a daily basis. The place has zero Internet, no drainage, terrible electrical and then God forbid they do 1 thing about anything. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone else and I will not ever stay there again. Shame on this scam scamers lier do nothing business owners. Not union friendly nor service friendly. Only concern is the dollar for themselves. Shame shame shame. Be ware stay away your post
This place has gone downhill in the last few years. We went last summer and the mini golf course desperately needed major upkeep. The greens had mud on them. Food isn't the best either. I would eat before you go.
Probably, this is one of the best parks I have ever been in. The rides are well-maintained and the attendants are very responsible.
Visited the park today with my 2 boys (8 and 14). We did enjoy the rides, old school compared to Kings Island in Ohio that we are regulars at but we liked the change and it was fun. We spent 7 hours at the park and were not bored. The free sunscreen was nice just an fyi for future visitors it is SPF 30 so if you need something stronger bring your own. I deducted stars for the following reasons:
1. The lifeguards were awful! Saw several people get hurt including my 8 year old and they would just look at the injured person like they were clueless on what to do, wouldn't ask them if they were alright or even a knowledge them. On the slide a life guard proceeded to yell at an around 6 yr old kid to go like he should have just known it was safe and then huff and puffed and shook his head annoyed. Very unprofessional. When my son got hurt we advised the life guard who proceeded to send us on on a wild goose chase around the park. Again no first aid given or any kind of help what so ever finally just went into a restaurant and got ice myself.
2. The food was mediocre with a professional ball park price. One slice of pizza (taste like frozen) for $4.00 or a hot dog $3.50. That's a little extreme in my book for this kind of park.
*****SAVINGS: Louusville Entertainment book had buy one get one free coupons printable on the web. You can also buy a souvenir cup for $7.00 and refill during your visit for $1.00 which is much cheaper than $2.00 per pop every time your family is thirsty.
Holiday World has FREE DRINKS...YOU DO NOT...Guess where we're going next wknd??? Yep, you guessed it...here we come Holiday World!
This place was a waste of money I don't even think younger kids would enjoy this the only good thing was the water park. When it comes down to adults having any fun there's no chance of that happening. If it weren't 30 dollars per person and may 10 bucks I'd be more understanding but its a very small park and over priced.
I have been going to Beech Bend Park every summer for several years and we have always had a blast but this year they did not have free soft drinks which was a big disappointment.Whats up with this.Holiday World still has this.
I haven't had this much in a long time! My kids loved it and really didin't want to leave. Beech Bend is our new spot for fun!!
