Arcadea Architecture

We chose to work with Arcadea after interviewing a few first rate Boulder architecture firms because Arcadea showed a propensity to listen to, collaborate with and guide us as clients. They embraced a cost conscious design process and did not perceive our finite budget as an impediment to achieving the best results. Our project was a gut renovation and addition to a mid‐century modern house which Arcadea successfully transformed from a banal shed to a dynamic open flowing space. The addition melds seamlessly with the existing house on both the interior and exterior, the result is at once contemporary and true to its period. We were in process of relocating to Boulder from out of state during design/construction and Arcadea helped us bridge the long distance working relationship very smoothly. Working with David Biek and his team was a pleasure through all project phases, and he willingly adjusted his level of service based on our needs; when we were out of state he served as our agent and took care of all ancillary tasks including meeting extensively with our neighbors to obtain their approval for a variance, and guiding us through the contractor selection process. When we were on site in Boulder, David adjusted his contract administration services as we requested. We are thrilled with the result of our collaboration with Arcadea and would eagerly work with them again and would recommend them without reservation to any prospective residential clients.
