Dr. Jon Wee, MD

Dr. Wee has performed two surgeries, both thoracic, and I call him my “hero.” These surgeries are of course scary on one level, but his expertise and bedside manor are first class. Attached is a screen shot of my Facebook post about the surgery. In addition to the small amount of discussion shown, I wrote: "Nobody needs to worry about me, nobody ever felt better after surgery than I do now. I haven't needed any of the pain medication they prescribed, only my own daily muscle relaxer (cheap vodka). I can take deep breaths, and cough without pain. That minimally invasive stuff is really the way to go, knocked out on Friday, walking a short mile on Sunday, complaining about sweat.

I've had 2 surguries with Dr. Wee and next week I'm having a 3rd (to remove new lung metastases). Obviously I wouldn't keep going back if I didn't think he was doing a top notch job. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and professional. I know I'm literally in good hands with Dr. Wee.
