Safe your money and go some where else to eat my family and me went here to eat here the food was not even mexican food and it was nasty food and on top of that after I took a bit off the taco I saw a cacaroch coming out of my plate I was so disgusted and I get it zero stars but it don't let me post until I rate
Best damn Mexican Food that we ever tasted! I'm from Texas and we know good Tex-Mex food when we taste it! And this was GREAT FOOD! Wayne and Kathy
My family and Iove going out to eat. One of the three things that we look for when we dine with our kids are clean resturants, friendly service and prices, and good tasting food for our money. And in this day in age, money doesn't come easy so you want the best. Unfortunately, we didn't receive any of the above qualities in our visit.
The tables were dirty, the service was more involved in playing like kids instead of waiting on their customers. When we finally were seated, the waitress "Tracy" came across as though she had better things to do than wait on tables. No smile, no hello, just walked us up to the table and slammed down the menus and walked away.
The resturant was not busy, but some thirty minutes later, we finally got small portions of what we though would be a full course meal. We got very little for the amount of money that they were charging. No one ever came back to check to see if we needed anything else. Very disappointing, made our family feel as though we should have never came here in the first place.
The only time that these people even smiled at us was when we were checking out to pay our bill. AS much as I hate to write bad reviews, this place is definitely a ONE TIME and LAST TIME visit for our family and our money.
Looks like back to Superior Grill and On The Border for us.
Save your money and your time by avoiding this place. My favorite place to dine for Mexican food is At the Border. Their prices are better and the service is great. Your treated much better as well. I have eaten at both places and On the Border wins for our family....hands down.
Even Taco Bell is better than this place.
I worked at this resturant for years. We would always scrap the plates and reuse any uneatened portions to other customers. Guess you could call it recyclible food. I have no problem with the owner (Jim Urdiales) being gay or that he's male compation works and bosses people around...I simply would prefer a christian atmosphere and not have to worry if there is AIDS on anything prior to eating my food.
The owner is Gay and that is okay if you want to bring your very close friends over for a treat.
The food is over priced but the boys are nice at Mestizo's. The owner's lover is a good dude too. So please don't judge to harshly at their lifestyle. Their very sweet people.
The Out of the Closet People ;)
Great mix of seafood & Mexican dishes with good lunch prices & amazing, delectable dishes! Portions are not huge but adequate & all are first-rate like the Shrimp Relleno! Yum!
