New Beginnings

New Beginnings is more than a barbershop, it is a home away from home. Not only have I left the New Beginnings looking good , I have left feeling good. Recently New Beginnings has help me get back in the "saddle".

I had a horrible experience with Ciara. I usually get my hair cut by her nephew, but he was busy at the time, and I was in a rush. She acted like she had an attitude when I asked her to cut my hair, and I had to tell her numerous time to shape up different parts of my hair line once she was done. I eventually had to go home and shape up my own hair line. Besides that one horrible experience, I have had a great experience with her nephew every time I come in. He is very polite, and take his time to make sure I leave a happy customer. I wish I could say the same for Ciara.

New Beginnings Unisex Barbershop is the only babershop of its kind in Baltimore, MD and maybe the country. With its family- community oriented atmosphere and vibrant artwork on display, the barbershop gives off a sense of belonging and gratification. The barbers in New Beginnings are not just licensed barbers, but true artist at heart, in which they brings their own vision of bringing awarness of the arts and kinship to the community and to their life devoted customers. New Beginnings is a true experience that I recommend everyone to experience.

I highly recommend this barbershop. From the minute you walk thru the door you are greeted and instantley you feel at ease. I have been coming here with my sons since they first opened the shop. All of the barbers, Rick, Troy and Caira are excellent. My barber is Caira. She's been cutting my hair and my son's hair for quite a long time and she just like one of the family. It's definitely worth the trip from Columbia to come to New Beginning.

I look forward to my bi-weekly appointments at New Beginings with barber/locitican, Caira...she's the best! The shop is conveniently located near downtown directly across the street from Hollins Market in a beautiful historic building decorated with a unique Afrocentric vibe. The owners are professional, friendly & down-to-earth; the atmosphere is warm & comfortable and there's always an interesting topic up for debate. New Beginnings is just like home!

when you come in to newbeginnings you are coming to a family friendly shop. It is like you are coming into a place where there is nothing but family. This is a place where you know you are going to get a great hair cut and learn somthing from the people to, the people that work the shop do a lot for the community and the city so if you want a family friendly shop this is where you need to come.

My experience has been simply marvelous over the past 15 years, All the barbers are higly qualified and my barber Troy is very good and i"ve found no need to change barbers.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
