I arrived for my appointment in January 2009, frightened and sick having been told by several other specialists that they had nothing else to offer me. I had lost my skin in large areas over my entire body. I had lost most of my hair. The lesions weeped, bled and dried to adhere to my pillow, clothing etc...Dr. Anhalt and his associates entered the room and almost immediately began to reassure me that THEY DID have something to offer me! They gave me hope - the first step to healing. It has been nearly 4 years and I am now in a remission, thanks to Dr. Anhalt. He advised me that if I have "flare" there is a new protocol for my disease. I live in peace with my disease knowing that Dr. Anhalt is there for me and countless others--there keeping up with and researching new therapies for those who depend on him.
