        Dr. Ravi Kaur graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in biology. She pursued her dental education at Howard University, College of Dentistry earning the Doctorate of Dental Surgery in May 1997. She then continued with specialty training in orthodontics and was awarded Orthodontic Certification in May 1999. During her dental training, Dr. Kaur received many awards for being an outstanding student. In her orthodontic residency, her research focused on Expression of Sonic Hedgehog Gene in the Development of Oral Tissues. Dr. Kaur takes CE credits every year to keep abreast of changes in orthodontics and the latest innovations in technology.
