Manuel's Tavern

Manuel's is all about the history and heritage and that's all about to be gone. They'll move into a new development that's replacing the building they are in now, but I fear the character will be gone. I hope they can hold onto what made them so good.

Manuels tavern is a historically democratic bar in atlanta and it can be fun to watch the crowd during election seasons. They offer both smoking and nonsmoking sections which makes the place more family-accessible, and the food is usually quite good, and quite fried, but good fried. Waitstaff are usually very busy but helpful and friendly.

Manuel's, an old bar known as a democratic watering hole, is a great bar with beers on tap and an excellent menu. The bar is large enough to accomodate private parties and the non-smoking section is separate enough for you to bring the kids. A great place to meet with all kinds of people just east of midtown atlanta.
