Benihana

I can't stand this location. The staff is rude and ...yea rude. The valet are usually pretty nonchalant. I don't even understand how it gets to keep the name "Benihana" above the door. The worst Benihana I've ever been to and I've been to at least 7 in different places. Go to the one downtown if you're in the mood for some extra garlic butter and yum yum sauce.

The food was excellent! Would highly recommend.

This is not the first, but the second time i have had the same problem at this location. Every-time we have a social even, my friends and I tend to choose Hibachi style food. We had a large party and made reservation over a week in advance. Still had to wait over 2 hours to be seated and then we were all not even seated together. We were seated at the table for about 15 minutes before the waitress even came over to introduce herself and as us if we wanted anything to drink. After ordering drinks she didn't even mange to get our drink orders correct. She was also serving another table that was seated just as she came over to get our drink orders. Yet they manged to get their drinks before us. She never stopped to check on us we always had to wave her down ,but she manged to always be at they other table. Had to speak to the manager, but he seemed not to have anything to say either. It was one problem after another. By the end of the night the hostess was at the table helping because the waitress made it her business to stay away from the table and the manager didn't even come by again to see it anything had resolved, instead he stood there talking with the waitress looking at our table, but couldn't muster up the strength to walk over to the table to check on your guest. Needless to say, as many gathering as we have had there we will be taking our business else were and we usually have parties of 15 or larger. That night it was a party of 30 people that will not return. I will be calling the GM, DM and RM if necessary. I am a manager myself and would not allow such disregard of customer service at my establishment. Looking for good Asian food I would suggest :
