The Best Podiatrist

I saw Dr Tougas about 10 yrs ago for very painful heel spurs and plantar fasciitis. He was able to do ligament releases on both heel and I have been pain free since.

"I would recommend Laser Therapy to anyone who has swelling and sensitivity after surgery. After my extensive foot surgery (bunion and four hammer toes) I had a considerable amount of swelling – even after 8 weeks post-surgery. After just one laser treatment I was able to fit my foot into my regular shoe. Additional treatments reduced swelling further. I was able to “wiggle “my toes and the treatments also reduced sensitivity in the incision areas.

"Dr. Schinke recommended a nonsurgical treatment which encompassed heel injections and a course of laser therapy. The injections provided me a great deal of pain relief within hours. My condition was complicated by arthritic heel spurs that add to the trauma and pain in my heels. Dr. Schinke recommended a course of 12 MLS laser treatments. The treatments reduced the swelling in the heel allowing me greater flexibility in the affected joints. Additional laser therapy treatments provided me greater pain relief which enhanced my healing process. I am working on my goal of walking 1-2 miles per day."
