Comprehensive Eye Exam: During complete eye health exams, our doctors not only determine your prescription, but also check for common eye diseases, assess how the eyes are working as a team, and evaluate eyes as an indicator of overall health. Contact Lens Evaluation & Fitting: These evaluations include a comprehensive evaluation of the cornea; tear layer & surrounding structure of eye; a consultation on the best type of lens to solve your vision problem; designing, ordering, and verification of both diagnostic and final lenses. Contact lens training includes insertion & removal, maintenance, & cleaning & all associated office visits (within 6 months) to dispense and evaluate the fit of your contact lenses. Corrective Lenses: We have the latest in spectacle lens material: Hi-Index plastic and glass, aspheric lenses, and photosensitive lenses. We offer single vision, bifocal and progressive lenses as well as special occupational lens designs. Bennett Optometry carries Varilux Lenses, including the Varilux S Series, providing excellent near, intermediate, distance and peripheral vision. We also carry Crizal Anti Glare Coatings, offering the most complete protection against the invisible and often irreversible dangers of UV reflection; including Crizal Avance and Crizal Sapphire with Scotchgard Protector that minimizes glare even more. Contact Lenses: Bennett Optometry offers the latest in contact lenses and contact lens fittings. We custom-fit lenses that correct astigmatism and solve difficult prescription problems. We offer Kerasoft, custom soft contact lenses which are designed to fit irregular corneas; Intelliwave, custom soft contact lens for high amount of astigmatism and Multifocal needs; Duette Contacts, which are hybrid lenses with a hard lens center and soft lens skirt, designed for astigmatism and Multifocal specialty prescriptions; Dailies, which are single use contacts for spherical, astigmatism, color and Multifocal needs. We also carry Monthly, 30 day use contact lens for spherical, astigmatism and Multifocal needs. Corrective Procedures: Refractive surgery, LASIK, Photo Refractive Keratectomy, & Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT.) Children's Vision Care: Ann Arbor Clinic for Vision Enhancement specializes in helping children. Pediatric eye examinations are more than just a measure of sight--they evaluate a child's vision, that is, test for eye teaming, focusing, depth perception, vision tracking, and other visual perceptual disorders. Low Vision Services: The consultants at Bennett Optometry Low Vision Clinic specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of Low Vision Conditions. Offer the most advanced devices to enhance and improve sight. Works closely with low vision companies and participates in their studies of new technology. Provide training and education on low vision devices, vitamin supplements and new developments in low vision treatments.
