Golden Nugget RV Park

My family and I spent 6 days at this RV park at the beginning of July, I must say that the people working in the office are very friendly,however the bathrooms never seemed to be cleaned and smelled stale and dirty (I found this strange because they boast winning the cleanest bathrooms!) . They advertise large camp sites, the camp sites are very small and you have a great risk of hitting someones RV or vehicle while trying to get in or out of the spot. Which happened to some a few times during our stay. I don't think they never tried to put a 55' RV in one of the spots let alone a 35-40' RV. The location is good and it is easy to get to other places in Anchorage. My recommendation, if you can find another place to stay you should consider that choice first.

The attitude of the staff is warm, friendly and inviting. If they don't have an answer to a question they really try to find out for you. They have great entertainment planned for the upcoming 2009 summer in their pavillion right in the park, somtimes it includes your meal. Have an excellent parklike large area for pets and owners to roam, but be careful of the moose that roam here also. They have great pull thru spots.With over 200 spots a large caravan can easily stay here.
