We wanted to go here for some time. Finally went and when we walked in we sat right where the waitress was. She took someone to the check out. Then she cleaned an area. Off to give someone their food. A party of about 5 walked in and I said to my wife, watch she will go to them first. All this time the cook saw us sitting there. Sure enough the waitress did go to them first and started to talk up a storm. My wife said let's go, I said one minute I will give her. Time gone by so far 8 minutes! We left and she was still talking up a storm. Never will we come back and if someone asks I'll say forget it go to Kopp's down the street.

- Solly’s Grille is an 84 year old small cafe/diner. You sit on swivel stools with backs at two horseshoe counters. Our butter burgers were originated in 1936 by my stepfather Kenneth (Solly) Salmon. We also serve our homemade pies, tuna salad, chicken salad, cold dinner salads and old fashioned chocolate banana caramel Oreo malted milk shakes to die for. Our Farmstyle breakfasts are very popular made with lots of love and local Wisconsin butter and cheese. Pancakes, eggs and apple wood smoked bacon are early morning favorites. We have been seen on the FoodNetwork and Travel Network and we are recipients of many local and National awards. If you’re looking for an independent restaurant that still cooks with high quality sirloin, ice cream, Wisconsin butter and fresh cold locally purchased lettuce and tomatoes, you might want to stop in when you’re in our area. We hope to see you soon and enjoy your trip through beautiful Wisconsin.Solly’s Grille is an 84 year old small cafe/diner. You sit on swivel stools with backs at two horseshoe counters.
