Hi -- I went to this restaurant for my birthday & the Lobster Imperial was
fantastic !! We had the signature onion rings -- amazing !! But the downsize was the Grilled Salmon -- NO flavor @ all + Fried Oysters were not fried enough. The steamed crabs from the table near us smelled yummy -- crabs were from Texas (?) -- I did not see much for non seafood lovers or vegetarians to enjoy.

Well let me just say I think the food here in this place I over priced and not worth it and for the 45.00 dollars that got spent on one plate of food form here you could have taken your family to outback and got a real steak because the steak I had here was awful and tasted like a dog treat....

- About Bo Brooks Bo Brooks was founded in 1964 by Howard Bo Brooks and two partners. This answers the commonly asked question, Is there really a Bo Brooks'? In reality, Mr. Brooks hasn't owned the business for over thirty years, is in no way related to Brooks Robinson, and is unable to get a table for even his closest friends on a busy Saturday night. The restaurant's original location was in the East Baltimore neighborhood of Gardenville. During the early years, the steam room consisted of only two burners and newspaper was used to cover the tables. Because Bo's was one of the only crab houses in Baltimore at the time, business thrived and the restaurant quickly earned a reputation and strong following for excellent steamed crabs. In June 2000, Bo Brooks open its doors at its new location in Canton. At that time, Canton was in the beginning stages of the rebirth that has since swept over the entire Baltimore waterfront. Although the location in Gardenville no longer exists, our customers will find the same food, service and atmosphere that made our original location so great. In its history, Bo Brooks has had only three owners and has been owned by the family of Herman Hannan ( pictured aboved ) since 1985. However, the restaurant's name has not been changed from owner to owner because of its well-known reputation for the Best Crabs and Seafood in Baltimore.
